National Workshop on "Cloud Computing for Modern Business Management"
Jaipuria Institute of Management organized “ National Workshop on “Cloud Computing for Modern Business Management”, on December 1,2012. The workshop was jointly organised by Jaipuria Jaipur & NCS Computech Ltd., Kolkata.
The sessions were addressed by galaxy of speakers from various organizations. Sh. Sharat Kaviraj, SP, SCRB,Cyber Crime Branch, Rajastan honored the Inaugural session followed by the session (Conducted by Mr.S.H. Abbas Mehdi , Deputy Director ,STPI, Govt. of India ,Noida) based on foundation of Cloud Computing, Scope, Applications and business benefits. Dr.S.K.Pandey from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur covered the architectural framework of Cloud Computing for small business & academic institutions. Mr Aditya Mehta, Director, AMES Pvt. Ltd. also shared his experience on Private cloud implementation for SMEs.
Post lunch session was started by Mr Sidhartha Ranjan Thakur, Sr.Project Manager/Delivery Lead at Tech Mahindra Ltd., Mumbai . His session was based on the industry experience on cloud computing implementation. He considered some cases of successful cloud computing implementation. Mr Sidhartha emphasized the cloud computing implementation strategy in CRM, Telecomm etc. Final session was concluded by Mr.Manohar Malani, CMD, NCS Group. Mr Malani covered all the available solutions related to the cloud computing according to the need and scope of the organizations. He also focused on emerging trends in cloud computing. Professionals shared their problems during Query session .
This workshop helped to understand the key aspects of cloud computing and it’s diversified applications in business. All participants learned how to use cloud computing as IT tool to run and manage business operations effectively. The program helped participants understand how to plan the use of cloud computing in their organizations and learn how to manage cloud computing resources effectively. The program also covered emerging trends in cloud computing to help participant better plan for the future cloud computing needs of their organisations.
